These floors cover a total of 16 square feet when fully assembled. The mat can be customized by using only some of the tiles for smaller areas, or by purchasing an extra set to create a larger play area. Each tile is approximately 12 square inches, and it comes with 16 border pieces for a finished look. Soft but firm interlocking pieces are easy and quick to assemble or take apart in case you need to quickly store it away or move it to another room. This mat does not contain any toxic phthalates.
